On Sunday 11th July, a lucky few of the ladies county players travelled to Houghton Dairy Lane, Durham for take two of the Walker Cup tie.
The original game was scheduled for 2 weeks prior but was cancelled due to flooding of the green.
Unfortunately our Walker Cup dreams ended no sooner than they began, with the team losing overall by 19 shots – however I have been informed that both games were played in good spirit.
Hard lines to our ladies – hopefully we’ll have some better luck next year.
