MURAS / MIDDLETON / BALCOMB CUP TEAM MANAGERApplicants ideally should have the following qualities and skills: –
Experience at County Level;
Be able to command respect of players and officials;
Have excellent man management and motivational skills;
Have excellent organisational skills;
Be forward thinking and innovative
JOB DESCRIPTION
To select Muras Cup, Middleton Cup, Balcomb Teams
To chair selection committee/panel, where or if required.
To ensure the full participation of all members of selection panel in player performance/assessment.
Monitor and assess players from all clubs across the county.
Appoint Team Captain, if appropriate and working with them on team motivation.
Be approachable and willing to offer players advice.
Receive and assess reports on players.
Report regularly to the County Executive, producing reports and attend meetings where requested.
To work closely with the Alsop Cup Team Manager, to maintain and develop a good liaison, and work collaboratively throughout.
Develop and Build Team Morale.
Be actively involved in monitoring of players at all levels and ages, to ensure progression and development of talented players of all ages through county teams, and relevant finals (BN County Finals & Northern Counties Championships).
Attend rounds of Under 25’s and Under 18’s where applicable.
Attend county semi-finals and finals, including cup finals (Edwardson, Challenge, Jubilee).
Ultimately to work, promote Bowls Northumberland as a whole.
ALSOP CUP TEAM MANAGER
