Sheila Storey (G) and team stay on course to retain the triples title for yet another year! They defeated Whitley and Monkseaton’s M Maddison 23 – 6, Maddison conceded after the 14th end.
In the other semi-final we saw A Dunton (P) take on K Proctor (BD). The game remained fairly close with Proctor leading 6 – 5 at 8 ends. At which point they started to pull away scoring a further 14 shots whilst only conceding 4. Ultimately Proctor won 20 – 9, meaning they’ll yet again face Storey in finals at Portland at the end of July.
