Report on Stella Logan County game.

Friday 12th May was the first Inter-County League match for the Stella Logan Trophy. Durham v Northumberland at Consett Park.
Despite Northumberland losing 53 – 74 this was a valiant effort by all on the green.
3 rinks down but one rink up. Winning rink led by skip Joan Gledhill, Maria Green, Betty Hamilton and Marj.James
This season has seen an influx of ladies joining the County and selectors having to place players into rinks hoping to produce a match winning team. At least 10 new players in our first Stella Logan game along with some regulars has proven that Northumberland have the talent to build on and get results. Onwards and upwards Ladies. Next Stella Logan Match away to Cumbria at Maryport on Friday 2nd. June
Team selection will be issued week commencing 22nd. May
