The Northern Counties will take place this year at York RI – over Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 August.
Further details will be published after the counties have played their county finals – as Durham, Lancashire and Yorkshire are playing their finals on Sunday 8th August. Therefore I am hoping to receive details, timings, names on Monday – and plan to publish either late Monday or Tuesday am.
All champions are very much expected to attend and represent Northumberland.NCBA CHAMPIONSHIPS DRAW 2021 – to note each competition now has set days, i.e. u25 Singles, Pairs and Fours are played on the Saturday of the Northern Counties, and other events on the Sunday.
Also we are not going with the BE Format and keeping with our existing Northern Counties format – although reduced ends on some. But it is 4 bowl pairs, 3 bowl triples, and in the 4’s (it is reduced ends from the 21) but it is still 18 ends, which is more than the 15 ends we’ve played this year.
