Friday 28th April see the ladies annual Spring Meeting starting 10am at Gosforth Bowling club.
This event is open to any lady affiliated to Bowls Northumberland Women’s Section through their club. We are expecting 48 ladies this year so it should be a busy day. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone newer to bowls/ the county to meet players and find out first hand what playing Women’s County entails.
The meeting will start with a welcome and sharing our aspirations for a successful season, all whilst reconnecting with bowlers over a cup of tea/ coffee.
Then, for those who are interested in having a few ends, you will be welcomed onto the green at 1pm (weather permitting), therefore 2 bowls are required.
Note there will be a raffle on the day so prizes are welcome.
Lastly, the Women’s Section would like to extend their thanks to Gosforth for the use of their green and facilities.
