The BE National Finals Entries – at the recent Bowls England AGM the proposal for the National Finals at Royal Leamington Spa was for the top 27 counties to have 2 entries, and the remaining 8 counties to have the one entry was taken forward. This was slightly different and improvement to the previous 2 years, where it was only the top 13 counties getting 2 entries in each respective discipline (where they had the most entries in that competition, i.e. Pairs). So in both singles, pairs, triples and fours there will be 62 entries per event.
Bowls England published the findings this week and as a result: –
- The Men have 2 entries in all the competitions that cover the National Finals. The other events such as Senior Fours, Junior Pairs remain unchanged and there is one entry per county.
- The Women have 2 entries in both Pairs and Fours but unfortunately 1 entry in the other events.
