The Women’s Pairs competition started yesterday (2nd June) with some very close games.
There have been 2 withdrawals in the prelim round giving N.Scott (ND) and M.Waldock (NB) a walkover, and 1 withdrawal in round 1 giving M.Peart (WR) a walkover.
One game in the prelim round went to an extra end this afternoon with V.Errington (BD)14 winning by 1 shot to B.Ware (WM)13.

Obviously these players will now have to wait for everyone else to complete their round 1 games next week!
