Despite this loss all of the lads have been fantastic today, and in the previous game also. This defeat in a regional final of course is disappointing but we are making progress and development of these players. Our future in the county is certainly bright and we need to ensure these youngsters are given as many opportunities as possible.

John would like to thank the lads for their commitment, play and efforts, to the parents for your continued support, and help and to Acting TM today Stephen Harvey – many thanks Steve.

Our best wishes go to Bowls Nottinghamshire on their success today – may be we will get revenge in the quarters in the Middleton Cup (perhaps).
