Being a Safeguarding Officer isn’t just a requirement for county affiliation—it’s a vital role at the heart of protecting the wellbeing of our members, visitors and spectators. We’re looking for people who care about creating a positive, respectful environment across our bowls community.
🛡️ What You’ll Do
- Champion safety, inclusivity and welfare across the County
- Record and report safeguarding concerns to Bowls England
- Promote a culture of respect, trust and positive behaviour
- Stay up to date with safeguarding best practice and training
- Be a friendly, approachable point of contact for members
👥 Who Can Apply?
Anyone with a passion for protecting people. You don’t need to be a bowler—just someone committed to safeguarding and willing to complete the required checks and training.
