It is with regret to advise you of the news that Bill Gilbert (Cramlington BC) sadly passed away yesterday.
Bill was a long standing member of Cramlington BC of over 20+ years, where Bill carried out many duties, including officers roles.
In addition Bill had served many years on the County Executive – and worked tirelessly throughout these years – again over multiple years (16+ years).
Bill also had the honour of being County President – back in 2002. And in those times Bill carried out all the duties involved, as in leading up to President – such as Junior Vice President.
Bill will be greatly missed by all, and our thoughts and condolences go very much to Bill’s family, the members of Cramlington BC and of course to the wider bowling community. RIP Bill.
I will update you further when I have details of Bill’s funeral.
