I know this is not Bowls Northumberland related but it is certainly an interesting read about bowls, which was in the Daily Express yesterday. For your information Emily Ferguson, who wrote the article plays for the county of Kent, and her club is Appleyard BC, as well as England.
In some of the article it mentions the forthcoming British Isles internationals this coming weekend, and our own Gosforth’s Chris Yeomans will be putting his England shirt on again – as play gets underway on Friday – I am sure we all wish Chris the very best for the weekend.
