It is with regret to advise more sad news of Alnwick’s Ray Topping sadly passed away on 1 January 2023.
Ray was a long standing member of Alnwick and was a regular tourist of the Men’s County Presidential Tour. Ray with his delight, qualified for the first time at the National Finals in 2019 where he was runner up in the County 2 Wood Singles (but in 2019 2 representatives attended).
Our thoughts are very much with his wife Dorothy, and also to the Alnwick members and bowlers / friends across the county.
Ray’s funeral will take place on 24 January, in Alnwick.
Tuesday 24th January 2023 at 10.30am at St Michael’s Church Alnwick followed by private interment. Club Dress optional.
All welcome afterwards at St Michael’s Church Hall.
