Bev and John would like to thank all the players who took part in the Over 60’s Mixed Inter County match today v Durham.
Durham were very good hosts at Houghton Dairy Lane and the match was played in great spirit.
Unfortunately it just wasn’t our day!
It was very cold, windy and wet for the majority of the afternoon which impacted on everyone’s bowling!
We lost 118-91 with just 1 rink winning; they managed to keep the lead throughout their game so well done J Taylor & team 🙌🙌.
Rinks 2 & 4 both made great comebacks in the latter parts of their game, to reduce our deficit!
So that’s a wrap for this year!
Onwards and upwards and we look forward to next year, hopefully in the sunshine!! So be sure to keep an eye out for next year’s nomination form released later this season.
