After a great start against Durham in the county fixtures last week, hopes were high when Northumberland traveled to Caldbeck, Cumbria for the next one yesterday (Friday 9th July) and achieve the same successful out come.
However – this was not the case with Northumberland ladies scoring only 2 points out of a possible 10 with 1 winning rink in each county game. The Stella Logan were incredibly unlucky, only losing out by 6 shots overall.
Northumberland have a break next week (16th) to recharge their batteries whilst Durham will host Cumbria. Our County fixtures continue on Friday 23rd July where we will play our reverse tie of Durham at Gosforth WA.
