Tonight (Thursday) will see the start of the Men’s Edwardson Cup.
There were due to be 5 ties – but unfortunately Alnwick could not field a team and have conceded their game to Rothbury.
Therefore the 4 remaining ties sees Astley Park take on Rockcliffe, Seghill have home advantage over Benfield, Cramlington play hosts to Portland and the final tie is all Gosforth affair, where Garden Village play Gosforth & Coxlodge – with the winner of this tie having a bye in round 2 (as New Delaval Knights have withdrawn).
