White Rose 2026, played on Sunday 21st June, winners to qualify for the national finals. Venue Redcar.
Format is also different – 5 players, no limit on the number of reserves.
- Each match is only 1 hour 15 minutes.
- Pairs – 3 bowl per player, 12 ends.
- Triples – 2 bowls per player, 12 ends.
- Substitution of players is permitted after the conclusion of end 6 in each discipline.
Team:
Dress: County Tops (newer version/design), White Shorts / Trousers.
Counties may change players/disciplines prior to the start of each individual match.
Each session will have a time limit of 1 hour 15 minutes (including trial ends).
Scoring:
• Per discipline – 2 pts for a win; 1 pt for a draw
• Per match – 2 pts for a win; 1 pt for a draw
The county/team that tops the group at the conclusion of the group stages on will qualify for the National Bowls Finals. This will be determined by (in order):
• Overall points
• Overall shots difference
• Overall shots scored
