Thursday will bring the start of the Bowls England National Finals at Royal Leamington Spa.
First in action is our Women’s Fours – our representatives are Benfield’s Pat Browne, Rosey Bartram, Rachel Cartwright and Kayleigh Proctor. Our champions will take on Hampshire A, and a quartet from Lee on the Solent BC. The game has scheduled start time of 9:30am; and our other 4 from Forest Hall BC of Karen Sultman, Geraldine Garbutt, Mazorah Leighton and Thelma Napier – who play South Cave BC, Yorkshire.
Later today will see our next representatives in action with our Men’s 4 Wood Singles players. Our champion Gosforth’s Simon Richardson takes on Appleyard BC, Kent’s Lewis King at 4:30pm and our other representative St. Georges Dragon’s Chris McGready will play Gloucestershire’s A in Russ Mellerup at 1:30pm.
