Balcomb Squad Announcement

Our 2026 Balcomb squad returns to action on Sunday 17th May, with this year’s competition bringing a refreshed format. The event moves from the traditional Top 10 to a new Top 9 structure, featuring Pairs, Triples and Fours — meaning singles take a rest this season.

This change allows the regional finals to be completed in a single day. However, in regions with five counties, a preliminary match is now required to secure the fourth qualifying spot. This rotates annually, and for 2026 both Northumberland and Lancashire have drawn that short straw.
