Round 2 of the Men’s County Triples is officially in the books, and wow—the drama just keeps on rolling! Our remaining rinks laid it all on the line last night, serving up some absolutely ruthless scoring alongside tactical battles that literally required extra ends to find a winner.

 

The Match of the Round: An Extra-End Epic!

The absolute headline of the night took place in a colossal clash between G. Myerscough (ST) and J. Curtis (G). This was top-tier bowls from the first delivery to the last. With the scores locked at 15–15 after the regulation ends, the tension on the bank was high as they headed into a nerve-shredding extra end. Myerscough’s trio showed nerves of steel, drawing the match-winning shot to steal a breathtaking 16–15* victory on enemy territory!
