A short message, and request, from our Development Office, Janet Harrison:
Hello I am Janet Harrison, I have been appointed by Bowls Northumberland as a local Development Officer. This is a new post to support your clubs within the wider challenges facing bowls clubs and the sport going forward.
The Bowls Development Alliance has set out four main national strategies to support and develop bowls as a sport for all and ensure our sport is sustainable for the future .
These are :-

- Diversify and InnovateÂ
- Sustain and GrowÂ
I hope to be a useful link to support clubs , with this in mind I have sent out a letter of introduction and a short survey to help gather information to understand the needs of our clubs going forward .
