On behalf of Bowls England:
We are pleased to advise that entries for our 2025 National Bowls Championships will be opening on Wednesday 4th December.
The National Bowls Championships has something for everyone – and with a new competitive structure, we want to see even more people competing, connecting with communities, and bidding for a coveted National title.
Our competitions are open to players of all abilities – with a range of events tailored for different levels of competitors so there is a competition for everyone.
New for 2025, the Foundation Pairs will provide an opportunity for current bowlers that have never qualified for the Nationals Finals and new bowlers to participate in an event dedicated to them. We are also pleased to introduce a new Over 60 Mixed Inter-County competition and Under 17 Boys and Girls Singles.
We particularly welcome entries from those who may not have entered one of our competitions before, as this is a great opportunity for bowlers to improve their game, challenge themselves and perhaps win a place at the 2025 Aviva National Bowls Finals in Leamington Spa.
Please note, U17 Singles and Disability events will be open for entries at a later date.
Bowls England is excited to launch a new brand identity for competitive bowls in England, which aims to create a clear and modern identity for the competition structure.
The new brand creates a consistent look across the entire competitive season, showcasing the journey from the start of the season through to its pinnacle, the Aviva National Finals. Within the brand identity are four pillars of events that will attractive their respective target audiences, from competitions supporting our performance pathway through to those who are looking for healthy competition alongside the inclusive community bowls is so well known for.
Please see the information below that will be available to entrants from Wednesday.
