We’ve received a few enquiries regarding whether scheduled matches will go ahead during the upcoming Partial Solar Eclipse on Wednesday, 12 August 2026.
Match Status
All matches are going ahead as planned. Fixtures will not be canceled or rescheduled due to the eclipse.
What to Expect & Safety Notice
The eclipse will take place in the evening (with maximum coverage occurring shortly after 7:00 PM across most of the UK). While light levels and temperatures may dip slightly, games will proceed normally.
Use Common Sense: Please exercise standard safety precautions.
Protect Your Eyesight: Never look directly at the Sun without certified solar eclipse glasses even during peak coverage when a large portion of the sun is obscured. Standard sunglasses do not provide adequate protection.
