This is for the attention/ action of all club Secretaries.
There are still 14 clubs (listed below) yet to complete the Safeguarding survey which was emailed on June 18th/19th. Please prioritise completing this by the end of the week. The deadline has already passed, but it is crucial for Bowls England to receive this information as soon as possible – THANK YOU to those clubs who have already completed this!
As I hope you are all aware, as of May 2025, the Safeguarding Officer Role will be mandatory on every club’s committee – your club will not be allowed to affiliate to Bowls England without one.
A club checklist can be found on the Bowls England website along with the DBS application, Policies & Guidelines, Education and Training Materials. (Here)
If you require the survey to be sent again, please contact your County Secretaries.
If you are unable to complete the necessary details – you can email the BE safeguarding team directly, safeguarding@bowlsengland.com.
