Gosforth’s Chris Yeomans has regained his place in the England Senior International Team. Chris played in a trial last Saturday @ Kingscroft, Leicestershire and was successful as Chris’s name was in the selected side named this week.
Chris will be playing 3rd in the rink, but not to Durham’s David Bolt, as Bolt has retired from international bowls at the minute. Chris will play 3rd to Leicestershire’s Joe Dawson, where Dawson will be making his debut in the series, along with Kent’s Roger Kendrick (who won the National Pairs at Leamington Spa).
Across our Northern Counties neighbours Cumbria’s David Forster also retained his place, and Lancashire’s Chirs Gale is on the reserve list.
The British Isles Bowls Council International Series will take place at Llandrindod Wells BC in Wales on Saturday 27th June and Sunday 28th June 2020.
I am sure we all congratulate Chris on retaining his place and of course we wish him well in the series itself next year.
