For those that have entered / playing in the Mixed Pairs – that is the Bowls Northumberland one (draw on this site). This is to advise you on a couple of key points and important information: –
Firstly this is a Bowls Northumberland competition, and therefore we run this and adopt our own rules accordingly, similar to our leagues (Clegg or Collins & Shipley). In particular this year we are playing 4 Bowls of 18 ends (was 21 ends previously). (This change was adopted due to some members advising 21 ends was possibly too long, and this was approved at the BNMS AGM). You may ask why I am raising this point but in Bowls England competitions/events all pairs are 3 Woods and 18 ends for this season, so that is Women’s Pairs, Men’s Pairs and the Bowls England National Mixed Pairs (which is not this one!).
On results – results must be reported to myself (John Harthen) within 24 hours of the game being played. The winning pair/or contact should also send the scorecard electronically – where I’m happy to receive via whatsapp, text or e-mail (johnharthen@sky.com). Please ensure all names are on the card – thank you.
Finally I have now put all the contact names and telephone numbers on the page of the draw. For GDPR purposes I will be removing names / details after each round (so only the pairs left in will be available / shown).
