There is a vacancy for the Alsop Team Manager due to Michael Wilson stepping down. We of course thank Michael for all his efforts during his tenure in post.
The vacancy description is as follows: –

Have excellent organisational skills;

To select Alsop Cup Team
To chair selection committee/panel, where or if required. To ensure the full participation of all members of selection panel in player performance/assessment. Monitor and assess players from all clubs across the county. Appoint Team Captain, working with them on team motivation. Be approachable and willing to offer players advice. Receive and assess reports on players. Report regularly to the County Executive, producing reports and attend meetings where requested. Maintain and develop a good liaison, and work collaboratively with Muras/Middleton Team Manager and Team(s). Develop and Build Team Morale. Be actively involved in monitoring of players, in particular Under 25’s, to ensure progression and development of talented players of all ages through to Muras and Middleton Cup squads / teams. Attend rounds of Under 25’s and Under 18’s where applicable. Attend county semi-finals and finals, including cup finals (Edwardson, Challenge, Jubilee). Ultimately to work, promote Bowls Northumberland as a whole.
