Pairs Results

Round 3 of the pairs was completed tonight (Thursday). Both of the 2017 finalists Gosforth's Mick McGreevy and holders Chris Yeomans progressed, although Yeomans had to overturn a 13-1 deficit to advance to Round 4.

Reporting Results

Just a brief reminder on the reporting of results. All ties must be reported within 24 hours of the commencement of the tie. For pairs/triples/fours (including mixed pairs, senior 4's) all names must be written on the scorecard, along with the competition, i.e. Triples and the relevant tie number.

At the end of the game the scorecard must be signed by the losers.

County Singles Round 2

Monday night brought the conclusion of the County Singles 2nd round or for some going through the pain of watching England again!! There were no fewer than 6 former champions, including the current champion in action. The current holder Backworth Welfare's Paul Ging eased through, but for 3 of them it was a different story.

Middleton Cup Hopes Ended

Northumberland's 2018 Middleton Cup hopes were ended on Saturday, having to avoid defeat against Cumbria at Wigton BC; but unfortunately we suffered a heavy loss. This result with 1 game to go means we can't progress from the group this year.

Alsop Cup Suffer Defeat

Northumberland's Alsop Team Cup went down to defending champions and neighbours Durham at Stockton BC on Saturday. The game was evenly posied throughout, with no more than 3 shots in the game up to 18 ends. However, over the last key few ends Durham secured the shots and took the victory by 10 shots (126 - 116), and importantly collected 17 of the 22 points on offer.
